Alternative ways to view Adobe Acrobat documents

If you can't use Acrobat Reader to view documents (for example, if you use screen reader software or an audio-enabled web browser), Adobe provide a free online tool which converts them to text, here.

  • To use this service, send the web address (URL) of the Adobe Acrobat document you want to read, the online reader will convert it.

  • Alternatively you can send the page URL to Adobe here, who will return the document to you as a web page (HTML) or as plain text. Alternatively, you can choose to have it e-mailed to you as an attachment.

There are many other solutions which can be found at the 'jumping off site', here
