  1. This looks good Mike – You use it for a different purpose then I do – for students rather than staff. I’d be interested to hear how it works for you and why you use a blog rather than a traditional site.

You are right, it is for students. It is so quick to use, I put the news I think is important here, then think about it then copy it onto the main sixthform.info/law site when I have time. It also ensures I don’t forget material or more important lose it.
It is a supplement to and not a replacement for the main site.

  3. Hi – I’m glad I’ve finally found a UK law blog. Do you know of any others as I’ve been hunting for ages, and can find plenty of excellent US law blogs, but none, apart from yours, commenting on English law??

  4. Thanks for your help Nick, I’ve had a look at the Venables site and it’s helpful. I agree with your recommendations: The Crooked Timber People are good.

  5. Nicholas: I knew the case had been heard in the CofA, and knew that it was to be handed down at 11 am in court 4, so I went looking for it.

  6. Nicholas: Hmmm, I now see what you mean, R v Dica has been removed. It was posted around lunch time, and I do recall it said that it was subject to editorial correction. It is still visible in BAILI at http://www.bailii.org/ew/cases/EWCA/Crim/2004/1103.html

  8. Corporate Blawg UK thinks this is a great blog for making the law appeal (excuse the pun). Corporate Blawg has also set out to achieve the same, int he specialist area of Corporate Law (hmmm yum). Please check out the blawg, and let Corporate Blawg know what you think:
