Sir Igor Judge has been sworn in as the new Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales at the Royal Courts of Justice.

The 67-year-old will now be known as Lord Judge, Lord Chief Justice.

The ceremony in London was attended by Justice Secretary Jack Straw in his role as Lord Chancellor, as well as senior judges and lawyers.

Lord Judge takes over from Lord Phillips of Worth Matravers, who is moving to the House of Lords, the UK’s highest court.

Lord Judge was called to the Bar in 1963, becoming a QC in 1979. He was appointed a High Court judge in 1988 and became a Court of Appeal judge in 1996.

He later rose to be President of the Queen’s Bench Division of the High Court and Head of Criminal Justice.

  1. I am very impressed with Lord Judge’s ruling on suitable sentencing for burglary -because (-a person’s home should be their castle’ – no-one should enter without invitation.

I am writing to home with regard to the uninvited invasion of our homes of microwave emissions from mobile phone masts -and now additionally – Wi-fi, which comes in whether we have ‘invited’it or not!

These emissions are causing severe symptoms in many homes – Wi-Fi especially so. None of these emissions have been exposed to the intensive testing and investigation which should have happened before they were ‘rolled out’- and Wi-fi inflicted upon our innocent children in schools.

Emissions for Tetra have caused loss of limbs – similar to MS- for two families I know of – one family has moved home six times to avoid this – and even in their latest new home (free of mast emissions) Wi-fi from next door is making their lounge uninhabitable!

I was once addicted to my mobile phone (1986 until 2004. 2004 was the 3rd year of my investigations into the strange symptoms suffered in several houses immediately after an Orange mst was activated 14 metres from front doors in Sept. 2001(antennas level with bedroom windows).

The most prevalent symptom evident in 2001 was insomnia – on its own an extremely debilitating inconvenience, and which has made it impossible for one resident to use either of the two front rooms of her house and to suffer permanet headaches as long as she stays at home (scans at hospital showed no physical problems).

(There has been a massive increase in brain tumours amongst young people – and there is a huge epidemic of insomnia amongst young people in America, where, at the moment, the mobile phone system is far more invasive that ours!)

A second person is unable to sleep in any of his bedrooms – he has slept on the floor at the back of his lounge for the last 7 years! Protective material cuts off some of the emissions, but the effects are not completely prevented – only if the mast is turned off, as it was in April 2002 for the whole month. All the symptoms stopped; are not suffered when people go away from the area – and do not respond to medical treatment.

Please do not spend too long on your phones! Dr. George Carlo in America (and 200 other scientists)proved that handsets are very dangerous, but the phone companies refused to stop selling them.

Dr. Carlo says that Fibre Optics would be a safer way to provide telecommunications – but that would cost the phone companies more money – the present provision is cheaper! So much for our health and the environment. There is a tsunami of evidence available! It has reached Europe and at the moment France is making it illegal to advertise mobile phones for or sell phones to, children.

(Pehaps this is why the HPA have at last admitted that some people suffer from Electrical Hyper Sensitivity (EHS)? So far having ignored all of the information I have sent to them! ‘There is no proof’ has been their favourite response. Look up Dr. Neil Cherry and Barrie Trowers ‘Report on Tetra for teh Police Fedaration’- a microscopic part of the evidence as a whole!)
